Bev joined Sagars from the Inland Revenue in 1987 and is now a senior manager in our private client team, with a portfolio of around 200 clients. As well as completing tax returns and tax computations, Bev also advises on personal tax planning and Capital Gains Tax issues.

When it comes to providing great client service, Bev is a big advocate of mixing the old with the new and says; “Over the years I’ve enjoyed building strong relationships with my clients, it’s a part of my work that I really enjoy. I like to be able to meet people where possible because it’s always better to be able to put a face to a name. Whilst Sagars is continually growing, keeping up with technology and improving systems, we have still retained many of the good old fashioned values that have helped us to achieve our success; our clients often compliment us on our friendly and helpful personal service and our ‘common sense’ approach.”

Bev has a young son who keeps her busy outside work and she admits that, sometimes, juggling the two can be quite a challenge – particularly during our busiest months coming up to the 31st January.  However, she still manages to find some to herself for the occasional shopping trip and the odd glass of wine, or two….!
