What we really do

Forget all the national awards and complicated technical jargon.  We asked our team members to imagine how they’d explain to a five year old what they did at work.  Here’s a flavour of what they said:

"I talk to lots of nice people and help them with numbers."

"I help people to understand numbers so they can make choices.  Sometimes we can help them so that they make lots of dosh."

"I meet lots of people who work in all sorts of different jobs and I help them by giving them tax and business advice."

"I work with lots of interesting people who own businesses and help them to be successful and have some fun too."

"I help show businesses how they’ve spent their money, how much money they’ve made and how much their business is worth."

"You know that thing called tax that grown-ups pay to the government for schools, hospitals, roads and so on?  Well, I make sure people pay just the right amount and help them organise themselves so that they can."

"I help businesses to do their sums properly so they don’t get into trouble with their money."

"I help people to run their businesses and solve complicated problems."

We see the people, not just the figures
